**We are seeking a Technical Sales Support**: Benefication, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy to join our Technical Sales Support team. You will be responsible for first line technical issues in the Africa Market Area (AMA), resulting in the provision of technical solutions to support customer needs and issues relating to products defined and support of the more complex technical scopes of proposals.

Under the Beneficiation & Dewatering portfolio, lies Flotation, Thickening and Filtration, which requires technical competence as well as a drive to assist in problem solving. This role is a pivotal in terms of aligning the Global Product Line specialists with the Market Area (MA) and customer needs.

In this position, you will report to the Head of Technical Sales Support - Services.

This position is mainly located in Centurion, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position also involves up to 50% travel to other countries.

TEAM YOU BELONG TO

You will join a team of Engineers that strive to effectively deliver a seamless experience, that delivers a “technical solution” that meets the customers needs, thus supporting the sales team to, to enhance and build relationships with the downstream effect on sales realisation.

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Management, Other Engineers, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Clients and Site Staff.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide high technical expertise in the area of troubleshooting, process knowledge, technical incidents, operation and maintenance for Flotation & Thickening. Through site visits and using digital and remote services (i.e. Augmented Reality)
Specializing to own technology areas in order to provide expertise support in site operations and technology related incidents and inquiries or problems
Participating in technical warranty claim or customer complaint handling
Act as a trainer for internal/external technical trainings, for products
Expertise support for problem management, technical sales support, R&D and product development
Support IB Validation; CTO and ETO quotation development through solution definition and technical research; inspection report reviews, recommendations and solution as requested
Supporting Field Service with Technical information/details
Supporting the sales process and assisting with the Technical information flow and part numbers
Assisting with developing and influencing and negotiations when required

WHO YOU ARE

Must have Matric (Grade 12)
Must have a B Tech / BSc / B Eng Metallurgical / Process Engineering, with a minimum of 5 year’s field experience in Process Equipment or,
Must have Sales experience
Must have up to date understanding & knowledge as a technical product specialist
Understanding and experience of sales and financials
Familiarity with a broad range of Minerals Processing Equipment
Familiar with the core processes of the sales process
Experience in complex relationships

A high level of computer skills is essential - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet the deadlines
Ability to work in a team atmosphere and Supervision skills
Client skills including building and managing relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs and market requirements
Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
