**Job Advert Summary**:
Epol is looking for a dynamic individual to support and drive the strategic direction for the Feed business in FAB and drive the Brand Plan for Feed. Achieve and drive the EBIT for the Feed Division. Alignment with General Manager and Sales Team to influence strategy and functional achievement.
To establish and maintain existing and new customer relationships through technical support of feed nutrition, kpi analysis, and farm management advice that will translate into increased sales and expanded product offerings.

**Minimum Requirements**:
BSC Degree
Preferably in an Animal Science background.
Nutrition and formulation experience advantageous
Marketing and sales qualification and experience advantageous
Valid Code EB drivers’ licence

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**National Strategy Formulation and Implementation**

Formulate short
- and long-term external feed sales strategies to deliver sustainable, profitable growth by key customers.
Prioritise products and initiatives by customers based on demand.
Ensure alignment across plans and with the supply side of the business.
Determine the tone and direction the sales team takes in its approach to working with key customers.
Drive the achievement of targeted sales growth.
Evaluate and monitor competitors and their activities and formulate proactive responses when required.
Perform rigorous product and market analysis and allocate budget accordingly
Drive the achievement of SIA targets.
Participate in the Agriculture and Commercial planning process through the development of an annual customer business plan that supports brand and category plans.

**Key Account Management**

Ensure that all accounts are profitably serviced for the company to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
Monitor and analyse sales and market trends.
Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements for accounts with accountability for delivering strong financial results.
Plot the annual and long-term objectives for accounts and ensure all volume, distribution and profit targets are met.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations and delivery of all services to key account customers. This includes product development, technical advice and nutritional insight, demand plotting, production plotting and delivering products.
Review key account performance, set targets and develop joint business plans to improve effectiveness and set maximum profit margins.
Manage sales administration in order to ensure smooth and effective sales activity from plotting, calls, order, delivery and after sales activity.

**New product Development**

Drive the collaboration with the R&D and marketing teams to identify a robust pipeline of new products
Technical Expertise and Insight
Utilise technical information from the field to pick up trends.
Provide technical support to sales teams.
Collaborate with group specie specialists on technical matters.
Collaborate with Nutrition Executive on handling all customer claims.
Advise on the development of new products.

**Client Relationship Management**

In conjunction with regional sales managers manage all aspects of account profiles, including performance history as well as customer forecasts.
Ensure that customers have up to date knowledge of new products, market trends and performance statistics.
Develop and maintain strong work relationships with key opinion leaders in the market to inform future planning and sales focus.
Manage the presentations to and negotiation with key accounts.
Drive the awareness and understanding of customers’ budgets, goals and needs and the impact on Agriculture
Drive the nature and extent of all communications with customers.
Manage client utilisation and product adoption rates through new business opportunities.
Drive multi-disciplinary teams to provide key customers with market intelligence and other value-added services.

**Market and Customer Insight Maintenance**

Identify priorities and market, customer, and product knowledge gaps to help set research needs.
Participate in determining an appropriate customer research budget.
Participate in market and customer research.
Analyse and track market and customer trends and in-market measures at the customer and channel level, such as distribution, share, price, and merchandising performance.
Identify business implications and make recommendations.
Act as the channel expert, understanding what drives purchase needs and customer behaviour

**Planning and Execution**

Lead an annual channel (retail and farmers) management planning process to create customer-specific promotional plans that support annual brand plans.
Analyse the market, channels and customers as part of the annual brand situation assessment.
Participate in determining annual marketing objectives and strategies and advertising and promotion spending.
