A Tshwane based company is looking to hire a Finance Clerk who will be responsible for managing incoming payments, and debtor’s collections, reconciling financial discrepancies, and producing up-to-date management accounts. They play a crucial role in ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, they are responsible for keeping the finance policies up to date.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process accounting receivables and incoming payments following financial policies and procedures.
- Conduct day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Prepare bills receivable, invoices, and bank deposits accurately and timely.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate payment postings.
- Resolve clients' billing issues by verifying discrepancies and taking appropriate actions.
- Generate detailed financial statements and reports on accounts receivable status.
- Provide journal entries and conduct accounting on an accrual basis.
- Assist internal and external auditors by maintaining accessible paperwork.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and operating protocols.
- Ensure compliance with SARS (VAT), CSD and COIDA.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Finance Clerk or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
