Our client specializing in the Sheet Metal and Fabrications industry is looking for a Technical Sales Rep.

Technical Sales Rep Requirements:
Job Summary Statement:
Identify new customers in and around Gauteng that will utilize the services of a sheet metal fabricator.

Manage existing customers and grow your client base.

You will be required to liaise with the factory in Durban and manage your customers expectations on deliveries as well as deal with complaints and quality issues

Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for reaching your agreed sales targets Develop a sound strategy to grow our share of the defined market segments

Manage all related admin functions within the prescribed quality system to ensure maximum levels of efficiency and quality reach customers

Continuous customer interaction to build long term relationships, provide excellent service levels and ultimately grow our market share as well as to resolve customer complaints and address customer problems

Price and estimate drawings and sample parts

Timely notification to Management of any issues that may impact P&A’s JHB customer base ie. local issues; quality issues, labour issues

Setting and maintaining ad hoc pricing tactics in conjunction with the sales manager

Maintain and strengthen internal interaction with the various departments within P&A ie. design, production, management, etc

Qualifications:
Matric strong Maths and English will be advantageous

Relevant 3 Years Tertiary Qualifications

**Experience**:
Minimum 3 Years Internal Sales/ external sales/ Planning/ In an engineering environment

ERP System knowledge, for costing parts and managing your production schedule and lead times
