- R 1 - R 1 Hourly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)- The Senior Organisational Development Specialist (OD) will design and maintain the systems and processes for job creation, job evaluation, and job grading. The specialist maintains the job matrix of the organisation.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing the methodology, principles, and processes for job creation, and engagement with the affected employees and ensuring job titles
- Design and maintain the methodology for job creation and job evaluation
- Facilitate the process of the new job position creation
- Create job profiles for new roles and ensure alignment with performance contracts.
- Evaluate new job profiles and put them into the job matrix
- Conduct job evaluation, job grading, and maintaining the job matrix of the organisation to ensure internal equity is maintained (in conjunction with reward)
- Design and maintain the job matrix of all jobs in the organisation
- Lead the development and implementation of the Job framework (expectations by grade and clear C-career pathways)
- Lead on the creation of ob competency models, ways of working, and assessment of capabilities and behaviours
- Work closely with senior stakeholders including EXCO and managers to shape, agree, embed, and adopt activities & outcomes
- Design and maintains the rules for the organisational structure creation
- Maintain a role library that profiles generic role descriptions and competencies based on work architecture
- Other tasks as reasonably required

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:

- Registered Industrial Psychologist
- 5 years of experience in Human Capital
- 5 years of experience in Organisational Design
- Experience in the design and implementation of organisational design interventions
- Effectiveness programs/ initiatives in large, complex organisations

**Technical knowledge, skills, and attributes**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Organisational Design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence an encompassing large amount of people
- A proactive approach to issues and problems, and continuous improvement focused.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write policies and papers, and presentations for senior management and to develop organisation-wide communications
- Ability to build relationships, based on trust and confidence, with Executive Management, managers, and employees at all levels to foster an environment of cooperation and collaboration
- Ability to interpret and analyse data, provide insights, and present information in a professional format
- Ability to work in a team, sharing and demonstrating ideas of good practice and giving professional guidance to staff
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office
