Store and Inventory Manager

A West Rand manufacturing company has a vacancy for a full-time store and inventory manager.

**Requirements**:

- A strong character that can think on their feet and delegate tasks successfully when required.
- An ability to display authority and manage a group of 5 workers.
- A positive attitude to timekeeping.
- The ability to be cost-conscious.
- The ability to shoulder responsibility.
- The ability to take control of a situation.

**Duties**
- Opening and closing of the facility
- Stock evaluation and maintaining stock levels.
- Ability to complete weekly / monthly / annual stock takes accurately and timeously.
- Display good housekeeping habits.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Working knowledge of mechanical and welding consumables
- Working knowledge of stock management software
- Ability to drive a forklift. Licensed is preferred.
- Open minded to occasionally working overtime.

The incumbent must be computer literate, display a good level of physical fitness and in possession of a clean driver’s licence.
