**Position**: Store Manager

**Company**: Electrical wholesalers

**Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of products.
- **Order Processing**: Process incoming and outgoing orders promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Supervision**: Lead and motivate store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
- **Customer Service**: Foster a customer-centric environment, resolving inquiries and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Safety Compliance**: Uphold safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
- **Vendor Relations**: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships.
- **Store Maintenance**: Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the store, ensuring a visually appealing and functional retail space.
- **Reporting**: Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- **Training and Development**: Conduct training sessions for store staff to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and operational efficiency.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, particularly regarding safety, security, and product handling.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the electrical industry.
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- **Organisational Skills**: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Customer Focus**: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service, with a keen understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Familiarity with electrical products and terminology, enabling effective communication with customers and suppliers.
- **Computer Literacy**: Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with inventory management software.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, staff, and suppliers.
