At Ecowize, we relate our success directly to the strength of our team. To continue operating at our high standards, we’re seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the way in demonstrating customer centricity by having regular customer engagements.

As the Operations Manager for Kwa-zulu Natal you will provide clear direction and focus to area & site managers and the rest of the cleaning operations in line with the Ecowize purpose and values. Ensure customer retention by playing a leading role in collaboration between cleaning operations and other services and products offered to clients. Lead the way in demonstrating customer centricity by having meaningful interactions and regular customer engagements. Ensure we keep our competitive edge in the market by encouraging creative problem solving and innovative ideas within own team, with clients and relevant internal and external stakeholders. Ensure area and Site managers are consistently driving operational efficiency and compliance through best practice with support from SHEQ and the Technical Division. Ensure consistent service delivery by assisting area and site managers to identify and develop star performers and have a solid succession plan in place. Play an active role in identifying opportunities for growth and looking for new and improved ways to identify and implement cost saving initiatives which will ultimately drive profitability

**Objectives of this Role**:

- Customer Focus on regular, meaningful interactions to drive an inclusive partnership and ensure business retention. Responsible for handling contracts, customer concerns and all negotiations, applicable to new business, sell-ups, sell-downs, and annual price adjustments.
- Asset Care in ensuring that the sites take the necessary actions and ensure training interventions to prevent damages and maintain facilities, equipment, and machinery.
- People Focus on empowering, developing and motivating teams and individuals to perform at their best.
- Food Safety Focus in ensuring that the sites take the necessary actions and ensure training interventions are taken to eliminate food safety risks.
- Financial Focus on managing expenses within budget, accurately and timeously. Ensure continuous development and understanding of relevant financial processes.
- Compliance Focus to ensure that all regulatory measures are consistently applied.
- Innovation Focus on creative solutions that supports us in being the industry leader.
- As a leader and influencer in the organisation, the successful incumbent will be an advocate for the Ecowize values of Respect, Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Open Communication, and Service Excellence.
- Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field advantageous.
- Proven record of exceptional performance within FMCG, food production industry and or cleaning Industry
- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans.
- Proven experience in a leadership and managerial role.
- Previous performance evaluation experience.
