**Main Purpose**:

**Key performance areas**:
- Exceed all targets and labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
- Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and manage the service team.
- Create and Leverage Collaborative Partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer and Lindsay Saker policies as well as industry guidelines.
- Achieve industry leading standards of customer care, process efficiency and cost control.
**Job Knowledge**
- Motor industry and Workshop management knowledge.
- People management.
- Business, Sales and Service Process knowledge.
- Professional & Technical Expertise in Vehicle Service & Repair Management.
**Job Related Skills**:
- Proven track record in managing people and working on VWSA software systems.
- Computer skills, preferably MS work processing, Drive and preferable VWSA operating systems.
- Financial-reporting and forecasting skills.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Job Experience**:
- Min 10 years’ experience in automotive industry as Service Manager.
**Education**
- Recognised Motor Trade plus N6 or Technical Diploma.
- Recognised Management Diploma of Certificate.
- Industry related qualification (or working towards).
- VWSA Service Manager Qualification will be an advantage.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
Higher Certificate and / or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificate with NQF Level
