Description of the role
***
- Selling to clients from the Mortgage Origination (MO) channel, specific to our client’s target market to grow the client base through a targeted acquisition focus and generate new lending turnover for the banking business.
- Build on current MO relationships & network with specific MO's within your region to drive more volumes from the MO's
Skill and Experience
***
- BCom Degree preferred
- Private Banking or financial services experience advantageous (2/3 years Private Banker experience)
- Strong Financial Skills - understanding, analysing, and interpreting financial statements
- Sales Experience and passion for sales
- Ability to acquire new clients through the MO channel and to introduce the full client value proposition
- Above-average negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals quickly.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- People skills with a passion for socializing and networking
- Ability to identify opportunities through analysis of MO data
- Ability to compile credit minutes and present to credit within quick time frames
Role requirements:
Our client is looking for an individual who is commercially minded, and passionate about client service, in turn supporting our client’s business strategy through an out of the ordinary Private Banking offering. An individual who is mature, tenacious and entrepreneurial. A critical thinker and problem solver with a can-do attitude, and client-centric view.
- Sourcing new business through specific networking & building key relationships within the MO businesses.
- Hosting roadshows with key MO stakeholders to discuss target markets, pricing trends, competitor trends etc.
- Constantly keep MOs updated on transaction status
- Meeting specified budget and targets per activity
- Delivering a quality CRM service to clients & MO's
- Presentation of products and services to clients
- Providing financial advice to clients on:
- Lending products and Commercial Property Finance
- Treasury products
- Identifying business opportunities and successfully introducing leads to other areas of the business.
