KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects.
- Manage a team of project managers and ensure the successful completion of multiple projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that projects are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports to monitor project progress and ensure that project objectives are met.
- Manage project risks and escalate as necessary to ensure project success.
- Facilitate project meetings, resolve conflicts, and ensure project teams are aware of project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the project delivery
- Proactively managing risks, issues and changes
- Internal and External project reporting
- Stakeholder management
**REQUIREMENTS**
The requirements for the role include the following:
- Appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (NQF 7), Law degree would be advantageous.
- 3-5 years proven experience as a Programme Manager or other senior project management position.
- Ability to attend evening meetings as and when required.
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) is advantageous.
- Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, researching, and report writing.
- Experienced in MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and preferably MS Project.
