Overview: As a Social Media Marketing Associate, you will play a key role in implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. Your responsibilities will include content creation, community management, campaign execution, performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive social media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation:

- Develop creative and compelling content for social media platforms, including posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with the content team to align social media content with overall marketing strategies, brand guidelines, and audience preferences.
- Optimize content for different social media channels, formats, and audience segments.
- Community Management:

- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers, customers, and prospects.
- Engage with the community by fostering conversations, addressing feedback, and building relationships with followers.
- Implement social media listening strategies to gather insights, trends, and sentiments related to the brand and industry.
- Campaign Execution:

- Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.
- Create and manage social media advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing team members to integrate social media initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting:

- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, and ROI.
- Use analytics tools and platforms to gain insights into audience behavior, content performance, and campaign effectiveness.
- Make data-driven recommendations and optimizations to improve social media performance and achieve marketing goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content, design, and sales, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives and campaigns.
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify social media reach and impact.
- Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, platform updates, and industry developments to inform strategies and tactics.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and engaging content.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions: Social Media Marketing Associates typically will work in the office environments. This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate social media activities, campaigns, or live events. Travel may be required for conferences, meetings, or client engagements.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
