**Job Summary**:
Provide leadership to any segment (BUs - Support Services) of the SCM procurement function by developing and overseeing strategy implementation to ensure effective supplier engagement and procurement flows that adheres to internal policy and public legislature. To take full ownership of the sourcing strategy for the SAPO organisation.
**Qualification**:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 8 years in an SCM environment of which 5 years in a managerial role
- Institutional knowledge of the PFMA, PPPFA, Companies Act and all related public sector legislature
- Minimum 4 years in a role with direct liaising on Audit matters with and external auditor.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring of processes

- Overseeing the RFQ and RFP processes
