**THE ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The position entails the following responsibilities:

- **Content production**
- Track the quantity of content produced, such as articles, videos and infographics, within a specified period.
- Adhere to the content calendar and deadlines.
- **Digital marketing campaigns**
- Plan and execute digital campaigns - including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), display advertising and social media advertising - to drive traffic, generate leads and increase customer engagement.
- **Content quality and engagement**
- Track engagement metrics on social media posts, including likes, shares, comments, follows, reach, impressions and saves.
- **Conversion metrics**
- Track Click-through Rate (CTR): The percentage of users who click on a call to action (CTA) within the content.
- Track conversion rate: The percentage of users who take a desired action after engaging with the content, for example by signing up or purchasing products.
- Track Lead Generation: Number of leads generated through content marketing efforts.
- **Market research and analysis**
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets and market trends and analysing the competitive landscape and customer insights.
- Utilise data efficiently to drive marketing strategies and initiatives.
- **Messaging and positioning**
- Develop compelling messaging, value propositions and positioning strategies for Traderoot products and services.
- Communicate key benefits effectively to the target audience.
- **Industry trends and emerging technologies**
- Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations and emerging marketing technologies and tactics in the FinTech industry.
- Incorporate relevant advancements into Traderoot’s marketing strategy.
- **Analytics and reporting**
- Monitor performance of campaigns and track key metrics.
- Analyse data and deliver insights or recommendations.
- **Administrative tasks**
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as co-ordinating meetings, maintaining marketing databases, and organising marketing-related files and documents.
- **Assist marketing team members**
- Assist with general tasks when needed.
- Assist with the co-ordination of marketing activities.
- **Campaign assistance**
- Assist in the planning, development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, print and events.
- Co-ordinate timelines, tasks and resources.
- **Provide assistance at events**
- Assist with events, including setup, organisation, planning and other necessary preparations.
- **Content tracking and updates**
- Track and update content records to ensure everything is published on time and the correct number of marketing pieces are published each month.
- Manage content across all relevant social media platforms for Traderoot and all its associated brands.
- **Content creation**
- Create various types of content, including posts, articles, videos, reels and any other content needed for social media purposes for Traderoot and its related brands.
- **Industry research and topic Identification**
- Conduct research on the industry to find relevant topics and trends to cover.
- Inform the marketing team about relevant topics and explain why they should be addressed by Traderoot and all related brands.

**Educational and experience requirements**

**Skills**:

- **Content creation**:

- Proficiency in writing, editing and creating engaging content across various formats, such as posts, articles, videos and reels.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Canva is a plus.
- **Digital marketing**:

- Understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, display advertising and social media advertising
- Experience with social media platforms and content management systems such as Hootsuite or Buffer
- **Analytics and reporting**:

- Ability to analyse marketing data and extract insights which can be acted on
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or social media analytics tools
- **Project management**:

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- **Communication**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- **Market research**:

- Ability to conduct thorough market research and present findings effectively
- Knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape and customer insights
- **Technical skills**:

- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and Marketo
- **Adaptability and learning**:

- Willingness to keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Ability to quickly learn and incorporate new tools and techniques
- **Team collaboration**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
