- The firm is wanting to employ a qualified attorney who has their own practice with good experience in the industry and who wants to join a large entrepreneurial firm.
- Strong knowledge of South African legal procedures, regulations, and statutes.
- Excellent people skills research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
- Must have business development skills and a client-focused approach.
- Managing your practice within your area of speciality as a Director contributing to the growth and reputation of the firm.
- Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on matters related to any one of the following areas such as tax, business rescue, estates, commercial and corporate law, litigation, labour law etc.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to ensure accurate and up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Representing clients in court proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
- Assisting in business development activities, including client relationship management and new client acquisition.
- Collaborating with colleagues to address complex legal issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and best practices.
