High end members club, event space & restaurant in Umhlanga is looking for a Sales Consultant.

You will use a multitude of platforms to convert advertisement, marketing and promotions into increased revenue for the company. You will seek to increase build brand awareness through both traditional and new media campaigns and direct sales.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Proactively sell the properties services & facilities promoting business growth.
- Be responsible for the implementation of the Annual Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Communicate the product effectively - ensuring that the tangible and the intangible elements are understood by the market. This also involves communicating events and being responsible for advertising.
- Curate from a design perspective only, highly differentiated events which are unique and exclusive. Execution of events will be the responsibility of the events team, managed by the General Manager.
- Prospects and leads generation - to be responsible for ensuring that prospects are created and filtered into the sales funnel and converting these leads into new sales.
- To close sales of new memberships.
- To collate, update, track and manage the sales diary.
- Manage the overall membership sales budget and target
- Manage membership retention.
- Implementation of member feedback to ensure continuous improvement of offering.
- Member liaison
- Creating of profiles, building relationships with members
- Communication of all events i.e. personally inviting members to specific events.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

- A formal qualification will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of sales in the events or hospitality industry.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in sales.
- Digital Marketing skills would be an advantage
- Events Management experience will be an advantage
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in English
- Hands-on experience with CRM software.
