We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in SEO, allowing you to work on real-world projects and learn best practices from experienced professionals.

Job Description:
Key responsibilities:

- Keyword Research & Analysis: Assist in conducting keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords for on-page and content optimization, using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- On-Page SEO Optimization: Support the team in optimizing web pages, meta tags, content, and internal linking structures to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
- Content Development & Optimization: Collaborate with the content team to create and enhance SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies and business goals.
- Technical SEO Support: Help identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as page speed improvements, mobile optimization, and crawl errors, using tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.
- Backlink Building & Outreach: Assist in executing link-building strategies, including researching potential backlink opportunities, reaching out to relevant websites, and monitoring link health.
- Competitor & Trend Analysis: Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyze website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, ranking positions, and conversion rates.
- SEO Best Practices & Updates: Stay informed on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to suggest improvements to current strategies.
- Ask questions, ask for help

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric Certificate
- South African ID
- Computer Skills
