A prestigious lifestyle estate situated in Paarl, Western Cape is seeking a vibrant Sport and Wellness Manager to join their dynamic team. The position is responsible for managing the estate’s various up-market wellness facilities and service providers. The successful incumbent will have a strong background in sport and fitness and have excellent administrative and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of wellness facilities and sport centers (e.g., tennis courts, running tracks, rugby field, swimming pools, gyms)
- Managing various service providers and their service level agreements.
- Ensure that fitness equipment and facilities are maintained.
- Oversee the administration of the different facilities and gyms.
- Ensure the Estate Code of Conduct is adhered to in all the fitness facilities.
- Manage and ensure the effectiveness of a centralised booking system for all facilities.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
- Always ensure adequate supervision in both gyms during the week and over weekends.
- Increasing the product offering to residents and maximizing the use of all the estate fitness assets to ensure residents can enjoy maximum benefit from their investment.
- Develop and maintain database of approved service providers on the estate.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Always be an ambassador of the brand and set an example by engaging with colleagues and customers in a professional and friendly manner.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in Sport Science, or similar qualification in related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in an operational gym.
- Experience in developing training programs for various fitness regimes like spinning and cross-fit.
- Well-spoken, presentable, and bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
