A prestigious lifestyle estate situated in Paarl, Western Cape is seeking a vibrant Sport and Wellness Manager to join their dynamic team.

The position is responsible for managing the estate's various up-market wellness facilities and service providers.

The successful incumbent will have a strong background in sport and fitness and have excellent administrative and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of wellness facilities and sport centers (e.g., tennis courts, running tracks, rugby field, swimming pools, gyms)
  • Managing various service providers and their service level agreements.
  • Ensure that fitness equipment and facilities are maintained.
  • Oversee the administration of the different facilities and gyms.
  • Ensure the Estate Code of Conduct is adhered to in all the fitness facilities.
  • Manage and ensure the effectiveness of a centralised booking system for all facilities.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Always ensure adequate supervision in both gyms during the week and over weekends.
  • Increasing the product offering to residents and maximizing the use of all the estate fitness assets to ensure residents can enjoy maximum benefit from their investment.
  • Develop and maintain database of approved service providers on the estate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Science, or similar qualification in related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in an operational gym.
  • Experience in developing training programs for various fitness regimes like spinning and crossfit.
  • Wellspoken, presentable, and bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
