The Account Manager role is to maintain excellent relationships with a dealership site and all key stakeholders to ensure the sustainability of the partnership, consistency and trust between the businesses and a trusted resource to communicate between the dealership and the MVIA (Pty) Ltd. The Account Manager has a clear allocated territory and dealership allocation that ensures adequate frequency of visits and face time with the key stakeholders on site reinforcing the relationships and trust on an on-going basis.

This role requires a high level of relationship building and fully understanding the needs and business of a said dealer group as a valued partner. The purpose is to position additional product offerings with a clear focus to increase market share through deeper penetration initiatives on current vehicle sales.

The strategy and planning is to ensure that dealer groups increase Motorvaps sales for MVIA (Pty) Ltd, and to ultimately assist their dealer groups within their territory to increase 2nd gross income and larger premium values for their respective dealerships.

**Description**
- Act as primary point of contact for motor dealership within the designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relations with key stakeholders in dealerships.
- Strong relationship building with F&I, Dealer sales staff, administration, Dealer Principal’s (DP) and dealer owners.
- Understand the unique needs and goals of each dealership and offer tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with dealership management to review performance and address any concerns.
- Represent the Company’s brand and values as a “brand ambassador”.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to the dealership through understanding stock inventory, 2nd gross premiums and market conditions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics related to dealership accounts. Namely cash vs finance sales, bank approvals vs take ups.
- Actively and deliberately introduce, position and drive the product engagement strategy with their various dealership accounts to penetrate new product streams into the client base.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s automotive products and services.
- Train dealership staff on new products, technologies and services.
- Provide expert advice to dealerships on how to optimize sales using the Company’s products.
- Training and accreditation of F&I’s and various dealer staff.
- Handling of all dealer queries including claims queries, payment follow-ups, product benefit explanations or any related query aligned to the service offering of value-added products.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. intermediaries, RSM, senior management) to ensure smooth delivery and service.
- Proactively address potential challenges before they become critical issues.
- Respond effectively to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Focus on increasing penetrations and market share through driving and upselling of all MV related product offerings.
- Track sales performance, deeper penetrations and market share and adjust tactics to ensure consistent progress toward goals and required monthly outputs.
- **Attend and host dealer events and networking functions to build relationships and represent the Company.
- The role of the Account Manager in this setting is a blend of sales, customer services, planning and execution, to ensure the success of both the dealership and the Company.
