**Our client is a dynamic and ambitious family owned and run export trading business based in Durban. They have been in existence for the last 50 years with a third generation in place.**

**Specializing in the export of FMCG's, fruit and vegetables, meat, wines and building materials to over 45 countries throughout the world, they have subsidiary businesses in various other countries they are involved in.**

**We are looking for someone who is a skilled and accomplished Human Resource Executive to join our dynamic team. This position will be based in our Durban office and will be responsible to oversee the organizations' HR department.**

**Responsibilities**:
***
- **Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them.**
***:

- **Implement performance review procedures.**
***:

- **Implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.**
***:

- **Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.**
***:

- **Act as the point of contact regarding labour legislation issues.**
***:

- **Manage employees’ grievances.**
***:

- **Create and run referral bonus programs.**
***:

- **Review current HR technology and provide recommendations if required.**
***:

- **Measure employee retention and turnover rates.**
***:

- **Oversee daily operations of the HR department**
***

***

**Experience**:
***
- **Proven work experience as an HR Executive, HR Manager, or similar role**_ (8-10 years)_**
***:

- **Experience with full cycle recruiting.**
***:

- **Good knowledge of labour legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance).**
***:

- **Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems**
***

**Qualifications**:
***
- **Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, human resources management, organizational behaviour or development, organizational psychology, or a similar field.**
***
