**Job Description**:
Our client in the insurance space is looking to employ a Learning & Development Manager

**Responsibility**:

- Keep abreast with the latest training trends, developments, and best practices to implement accordingly
- Identify company's training needs and design appropriate interventions to address skills and competency gaps
- Set training interventions that align to organisational and departmental strategies and objectives
- Design, conduct, and organise training programs to improve employee performance and organisational productivity - culture, change management, soft skills, compliance, product, and technical workshops
- Source and coordinate external training providers where necessary
- Maintain and update onboarding content
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them
- Monitor skills development and training activities of individuals as per PDP’

**Qualifications**:
- Education/Industrial Psychology/Commercial Degree.
- Training qualification.
- Registration with an industry/professional body associated with people management practices like HPCSA, SABPP, IPM is essential.

**Skills and Experience: -**
- At least 5 years Training / L&D Management experience.
- Knowledge of the insurance environment (medical/health insurance will be an added advantage)
- Good understanding of various training methodologies and tools
- Experience in Training Content Development as well as elearning content development
- Must have a good understanding of South Africa’s Skills Development Act and INSETA operations
- Excellent skills to develop, present and handle training programs effectively
- Business analysis and project management skills.
- Proven track record of WSP/ATR reporting
