Account Manager required to join a branding and communication agency. Please note that this role is full-time and will be based at offices in Kloof, Durban.

Join a team of Account and Traffic Managers, and Shoot Coordinators, and play an integral role in delivering world-class advertising output for clients. As a responsible manager with exceptional project and client management abilities, you’ll work alongside creative teams, while reporting to the Account Director to ensure all outputs are aligned to briefs and brands, on time, and meet client expectations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Previous retail experience is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional administrative abilities.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Highly responsible and accountable.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and high levels of organisation.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office software (including One Drive), as well as Google Docs.
- Willingness and ability to travel
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Monitor the ongoing account activities by maintaining regular contact with the client and Traffic Manager.
- Establish, maintain, and nurture relationships with clients
- Attend project briefings with clients, taking the initiative to strategically understand the brief in the context of the brand and marketing objectives, and ensuring clarity by querying anything that’s unclear.
- Ensure deadlines are clear and managed meticulously.
- Put together cost estimates and proposals when necessary and get client sign-off.
- Handle budgets, manage campaign costs and ensure invoices are delivered accordingly.
- Work with Traffic Manager to ensure time and resources are allocated accordingly.
- Brief the creative team and ensure there is clarity regarding their deliverables, setting up the necessary follow-up meetings or gathering additional information where needed.
- Ensure all parties are informed, motivated, and have enough guidance and strategy to get started.
- Inform client and internal team of the work status of projects, or daily/weekly work in progress as required.
- Plan timings, internal reviews and lead-up to presentations, facilitating creative sign-off internally and externally, and manage suppliers on all production-related activities accordingly.
- Ensure the communication flows effectively and all feedback/reverts are attended to timeously.
