Our client, an **investment and asset management company**, has a vacancy for an experienced **Asset Management Marketing Communications Specialist **to join their dynamic team based in **Bellville**.

**Overall Role**

As the **Marketing Communications Specialist**, you will need to be able to develop and execute marketing communication plans to deliver on strategic marketing objectives. Act as brand custodian and ensure the consistency of brand execution in line with the required CI of the brand, visual language, look and feel and brand tonality. Ensure the cross-channel integration of marketing activities. Evolve and implement content marketing strategies and plans.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop communications strategies and plans across the spectrum of communications disciplines including: reputation management; media; public relations; internal communications; brand marketing; advertising; marketing; digital; social media and the production of materials to deliver on business objectives.
- Use your writing and editing skills to create relevant and engaging content for our target audiences and leverage the content across multiple marketing channels.
- With a client-centric focus, gather information to synthesise and distil key messages to target audiences.
- Develop and implement effective marketing communication strategies that build brand awareness and client satisfaction - internally and externally.
- Write and edit impactful and engaging content that effectively delivers for marketing and various stakeholders, audiences, and channels, ensuring a consistent brand tonality, messaging, and business objectives.
- Ensures marketing communication messaging and materials are high quality, accurate and relevant to the target audience.
- Manage an integrated marketing content and communications calendar.
- Track and analyse metrics related to content performance and engagement to guide effective sharing and define future marketing communication strategy and development efforts. Report on content performance.
- Drive efficiency and marketing excellence at all times.

**Skills required to ensure success in this role include**
- Marketing channel integration - an understanding of the different marketing channels and how to integrate communication and campaigns.
- Communicating complex financial concepts - knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarisation and simplification techniques to explain complex technical and financial concepts in simple, clear language and tonally appropriate to the audience.
- Copywriting and editing - knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.
- Marketing strategy and positioning - knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels - including the ability to implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics and establish a communications plan.
- A track record of excellence - hardworking and detail-oriented with a firm commitment to excellence.
- Being a team player and a good communicator with a belief in strong, open and honest relationships.
- Self-starter with a proactive can-do attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

**Education and experience**
- Honours/Bachelor’s Degree in Communication / Journalism.
- At least 5 years communication experience within **Asset Management **or **Financial Services Industry**.

**Location**: Bellville.

**Salary**: R60k - R80k p.m (depending on experience)

**Starting date**: As soon as possible.
