Requirements
- At least 3-5 years in a similar position - Back and Front Office role in a reputable lodge.
- Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management (Beneficial)
- Excellent Reception and Front Office control (working independently so must be able to manage all aspects)
- Strong Financial sense and sound knowledge of procedures.
- Strong Stock control experience
- Sound knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and stock control
- Must be able to prioritize and manage tasks independently, with good planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Maintain client database to ensure all guest information/details are complete.
- Excellent knowledge of Reservations and reservations programme - ERES and APEX
- Ensure accurate detailed capturing of reservations (providing accurate information, booking, etc, work remotely with reservation office in Johannesburg.
- Create a repour with agents and maintain relations.
- Computer literate, MS Office Suite, Reservation systems, POS systems, financial systems (Debtors)
- Control and manage internal transfers and allocations.
- Perform duty manager shifts when necessary
- hosting guests and ensuring the service shift runs smoothly
- Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required
- Active member of the Health and Safety committee
- Knowledge of Employment equity and reporting.
- A clear understanding of basic labour law and disciplinary procedures.
- Strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Extremely self-motivated, detail oriented and organised
- Implementing, improving and trouble shooting in order to streamline systems within the front and back office.
- Sound knowledge of all departments within hospitality
- Professional and well groomed
- Be willing and able to help in any area of the lodge if need be.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent time management and self-discipline, honest and reliable
- Committed and loyal, adaptable and flexible
- Team player with positive attitude, efficiency, service excellence, and emotional control

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
