**Requirements**:
**A vacancy has arisen for a Marketing Manager**

The purpose of this role is to support Rentokil Initial Sub Saharan Africa by building brand equity and driving business results and continuous growth of the business’ sales and profits. The role involves the creation and implementation of the region’s marketing strategy in line with the overall commercial strategy. This person will lead a core marketing team based in South Africa with indirect reports based locally as well as within the Sub-Saharan Africa region. A large portion of your time will be focused on the South African operation.

In this role, the Marketing Manager will focus on the objectives of building a cohesive messaging, digital marketing strategy and market positioning strategy reflective of an industry leader, while consistently generating new high-quality marketing and sales leads. This role serves as a key point of contact for internal teams; creative, content, lead generation, events, and online functions, as well as the respective cross-functional teams within sales, operations, and the larger regional organisation.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- Diploma or degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior marketing role
- Evidence of sufficient experience to demonstrate ability
- Valid drivers licence
- Inbound and Outbound marketing with experience on HubSpot and/or Adobe Campaign is preferred
- Strong commitment to world-class customer service
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management, good organisation skills and know how to prioritise
- Strong decision making, attention to detail, change management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well and quickly under pressure
- Analytical problem solving skills; linear and logical troubleshooting skills
- Must be assertive and have a high level of integrity and consistently demonstrate a positive can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Gmail, Word, PowerPoint, Advanced user of Excel (graphs, charts, data, functions, pivot tables).
- Ability to adapt to change, meet the changing demands of the work environment, any delays or other unexpected demands.
