- Effective supervision of the underground and surface Grout Plant crews
- Effective planning, leading, organising and control within area of responsibility to achieve daily production, quality and safety targets
- Cost containment through effective budget management and efficient target achievement
- Accurate and timely reporting
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows and target achievement
- Efficient achievement of production and quality targets in line with DMR and project scope
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation in alignment with legal regulations, the client's and M&RC's standards, procedures and policies
- Effective self and team management in alignment with M&RC's values and leadership initiatives
- Self and team understand and comply with legal regulations and M&RC’s standards, procedures, policies and safety protocols**Minimum requirements**- _ Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4_
- _Blasting Certificate / Trade Certificate / Technical_ Diploma _/ Project Management Certificate (preferred_
- _Chargehand Grout Plant_ Certificate
- _Possess either a recognised Shift Supervisor Certificate _
- _Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) _
- _Good English written and verbal communication skills_
- _COMSOC 1 and 2 (advantageous_
- _Valid EB Driver’s License_
- _Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chargehand Grout Plant_
- _Exposure acting as a Shift Supervisor Grout Plant (advantageous) _
- _Experience compiling risk assessments and safe working procedures_
- _Experience conducting planned inspections_
- _Sound knowledge of Grout Plant operations, equipment and methods_
