SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Ambitious with the willingness to grow into an Account Executive
- Matric/ GR12 coupled with a Commercial Degree is preferable
- A high level of numeracy and accuracy
- Full computer literacy, particularly in Word and Excel
- Experience in marketing or sales of asset, trade and debtor-based finance will be advantageous, particularly if from a banking environment
- Good understanding of security documentation is advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure in a team and/or in an individual capacity
- Ability to work independently, use own initiative and provide effective and efficient client service
- Good organisational skills
- Highly motivated with very strong inter-personal skills
- Communication skills are vital and the ability to work with people is very important
- Own vehicle and driver’s licence is essential, as the position requires periodic travelling to clients
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Superior customer service and sales support to the Account Executive
- Assessment and spreading of financial statements and management accounts together with cash flow and budget projections, as well as ability to comment on these financials
information from clients in this regard both for existing and prospective clients
- Sourcing and assessing information from clients to ensure that all terms and conditions of sanction are adhered to and that necessary periodic information is received and collated timeously
- Liaising with the Credit and Operations Departments to ensure the smooth running of the clients’ accounts with regards to risk, operation and administrative issues
- Drawing up security documentation for signature
- General office duties as delegated from time to time, answering of client telephone calls and assisting where possible (being proactive at all times) and liaising closely with the managers of the unit
- Be alert to the important nature and sensitivity of the information handled on a daily basis as well as assisting
with, inter alia, all Large Exposure Reports, Problem Accounts, High Care Reports, Reviews, and Client
Interactions
- Be prepared to stand in for the (“AE”) when they are off work or out on client visits or not in the office for any
other reason
- Supporting all service and sales initiatives and keeping the customer top of mind at all times.
