Sales Manager - Energy Industries Local Division
Our Company, a leader in the energy industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Energy Industries Local Division.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales strategy to meet our qualitative and quantitative sales targets in both the Systems and Service Sectors. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and success of our division within the Power, Water, Oil and Gas, and Petrochemicals industries.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy**: Develop, plan, and implement an effective sales strategy aligned with our local and global objectives.
Drive strategic sales and business development initiatives that contribute to achieving sales targets.
**Sales Targets**: Establish sales targets and closely monitor sales performance.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team, leading or assisting in key pursuits to ensure targets are exceeded.
**Customer Acquisition**: Identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers in the Sub-Saharan region.
Develop acquisition plans and allocate resources accordingly.
**Information Sharing**: Coordinate the flow of information related to sales activities, including leads, orders, contracts, etc. Analyze data to evaluate goal achievement. Provide market intelligence reports to the Marketing and Sales organization.
**Customer Relations**: Foster strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers. Support the development of efficient marketing communications to enhance client satisfaction.
**Volume, Profit, and Cost**: Drive sales volume by setting appropriate sales prices and margins for proposals. Participate in contract negotiations and effectively manage ongoing costs.
**Channel Management**: Develop and implement a strategy to grow our automation channel partner business. Identify and onboard potential partners within the Sub-Saharan region.
**Risk Management**: Monitor client financial status and promptly report any changes regarding risk to internal partner teams. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract agreements across customers and channels.
**Sales Process**:Take ownership of the sales processes, including training and development plans for the sales team members.
**People Leadership and Development**:Ensure the proper organization, staffing, skills, and direction within your area of responsibility. Coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates, driving know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
**Formal Qualifications and Experience**:
- A formal electrical engineering tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical and Automation Systems/Projects Sales Experience
- Project or sales experience within the power, water, and oil and gas industries
- 3 years of sales management experience
