This role supports the business in the USA, and the working hours are therefore 11am-8pm.
Our client, a SaaS company with offices in Johannesburg and the USA, is currently searching for a skilled demand generation expert to assume the role of Head of Demand Generation for their US Marketing demand generation team. The selected individual will be responsible for establishing a solid foundation and implementing effective strategies for creating and executing integrated campaigns. These campaigns will aim to drive new business pipeline and achieve the company's aggressive revenue goals in the US Software market. The Head of Demand Generation will employ a variety of tactics, ranging from digital marketing to direct mail, and will utilize account-based marketing (ABM) strategies throughout the buyer's journey to stimulate demand and accelerate the sales process. Additionally, this role will involve setting the marketing operations strategy.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be the US demand and growth marketing owner working closely with VP, Marketing to develop and manage the execution of our demand gen strategy ultimately owning and creating the marketing pipeline for the companys software business.
Establish and operationalise the companys ABM (account-based marketing) strategy for top Strategic Customer Account targets in our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
Support Marketing and Sales leadership with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and performance insights.
Manage marketing programs that influence the entire buying cycle from acquisition to close, driving pipeline growth and improving pipeline velocity.
Measure and analyse program performance regularly, adjusting tactics as required to ensure results are achieved and goals exceeded.
Work in partnership with SDR manager, SDRs and sales leadership to maintain alignment through consistent reporting, feedback and campaigns.
Participate in improving internal campaign production workflows
- continuously recommend new technology and processes to improve campaign effectiveness and team efficiency.
Manage marketing operations to optimize lead management and workflows to ensure increased efficiencies and conversion rates across the marketing & sales funnel
Work with acquisition and lifecycle/retention marketers to ensure they have the tools, processes, and capabilities needed to execute marketing, track the effectiveness of campaigns, and convert traffic to leads to transactions.
Manage overall demand gen/marketing automation budget and ensure we are within budget each quarter.
Own reporting and analysis of marketing effectiveness across the entire lifecycle (not just acquisition)

**Minimum Qualifications**:
7-10 years B2B SaaS enterprise demand generation experience - including at a growing B2B SaaS organisation, preferably in the US
Experience with leading and implementing ABM strategy and execution
Experience with Hubspot required
SaaS Enterprise B2B marketing experience
Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to hit deadlines on complex projects
Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills; capable of interfacing well across multiple skills within and across the company
Expert at campaign management best practices
Proven ability to collaborate across departments, and borders especially with sales
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills, i.e. ability to assemble and interpret data

**Must Haves**:
B2B SaaS experience - preferably enterprise
ABM - Account Based Marketing experience

**Digital marketing experience**:
LinkedIn Advertising
SEO, SEM
Campaign development from creative to execution

**Reporting and analytics of demand generation campaigns**:
Full funnel metrics, conversion rates and optimisation
Forecasting
Set up marketing attribution, track channels
Channel strategy
Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills; capable of interfacing well across multiple skills within and across the company
