- A Head of Demand Planning with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, an important member of our Regional Supply Chain team for Taste & Wellbeing Operations and a business partner for our continued success in the SAMEA region - **Your future position?**
- As part of the regional Supply Chain organisation, the Demand Planning team contributes to Givaudan’s success by analysing customer demand and coordinating its fulfilment. It incorporates two teams: Demand Planning and Customer Care.- Demand Planning produces the best possible forecast by analysing historical data, customer demands, information from sales, industry trends, etc. The demand signal validated by the team guides the decisions on manufacturing capabilities and timely raw material availability.- The Customer Care team represents the customer’s interest within the Supply Chain. They keep in contact with all the relevant teams within Givaudan. They receive and follow up on customer orders and requirements, always find the right balance, and ensure our customers are duly satisfied.- We are looking for a **‘Head of Demand Planning’ **to be an excellent business partner for our growing Taste & Wellbeing Operations sites across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA). In close collaboration with the Commercial organisation, you will ensure improvement in customer experience and oversee the development and performance of the market demand forecasts, S&OP processes and order fulfilment activities.- You will lead the SAMEA Demand Planning and Customer Care teams and report to the Taste & Wellbeing Head of Supply Chain for SAMEA. The role is flexible and open to be based in any of our manufacturing sites in Johannesburg (South Africa), 6th October City (Egypt), or Pune (India), and offers excellent personal and professional development opportunities.- You will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. - Strategy definition and deployment:
- Guide the strategic Demand Planning and Customer Care programs with regional and global strategy teams.
- Partner with the sites and other regional and commercial functions to ensure Givaudan's future performance and success in the SAMEA region.
- Leadership:
- With your leadership experience, create an outstanding and enthusiastic environment for employees.

- Manage and enrich the talent pool, including performance management, individual development, succession planning, career mapping, and gap analysis.
- Enhance customer experience:
- You bring the voice of the customer to supply chain improvement and change projects.
- Improve programs, contribute to customer experience and coordinate the management of new, promoted and discontinued items with the sales and site teams.
- Execution excellence:
- Ensure that the Demand performance meets the targets.
- Ensure sound S&OP processes are run and propose and implement continuous improvement programs related to Demand Planning, Demand and Supply Balancing (S&OP), end-to-end process KPIs, risk-based, with simplicity as a prerequisite.- Guide and empower your teams in prioritising and solving escalated customer orders.
