**Role purpose**:
To collaborate closely with the COPS leadership team to translate and execute on the strategic priorities of Vodacom
To drive focussed execution of strategic priorities (lead by COPS) across the value chain through matrix working, ownership and impact measures
To lead JDTs and cross-functional operational priorities (outside customer experience) to reduce demand failure and drive zero issues
To align stakeholders across the value chain/business groups with the aim to deepen collaboration, accelerate decision making and deliver results
To drive simplification initiatives to make processes less complex and more efficient

**Your responsibilities will include**:
**Strategic Priorities**
Assist to translate the broader strategic priorities in measurable action plans
Run strategic priorities (lead by COPS) across business groups
Drive One Vodacom alignment, prioritization of goals/targets and matrix working across business groups with a clear understanding of desired outcomes
Drive focussed execution and delivery of results for all internal/external stakeholders across the full end-to-end value chain
Ensure iterative checks and balances to continuously track the real-time impact, benefits, and outcomes
Explore best practice COPS models, used in other to Opco’s, to drive and execute on strategic priorities

**Operational Priorities (outside Customer Experience)**
Champion, run, track, and maintain cross-functional operational initiatives/JDTs with operational/service assurance leads and channel owners across all touchpoints
Drive One COPS team alignment, prioritization of goals/targets and matrix working across teams with a clear understanding of desired outcomes
Ensure iterative checks and balances to continuously track the real-time impact, cost efficiencies, benefits, and outcomes

**Innovation Simplified**
Identify and drive simplification initiatives to make processes less complex and more efficient
Design, build and implement innovation Co-lab(s)
Build Centre of Excellence for test and learn initiatives
Assist Leaders to realise change and transformation goals

**Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**
Build solid relations and work closely with internal/external stakeholders (including Business Managers) to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, providing insights, recommendations, and closed loop feedback reporting
Demonstrate clear and effective communication through all channels and can flex styles according to stakeholder preferences
Keep a pulse on needs and insights from stakeholders and other priorities, regularly communicating status, changes in direction, and relevant impact metrics to avoid misalignment and roadblocks

**Must have professional qualifications and expert business/business consulting experience including managing high impact projects in both a captive and outsourced operational environment**:
A total of at least 10-15 years relevant experience, of which at least 5-8 years needs to be as a business consultant leading strategic initiatives, and 3-5 years leading transformation in outsourced operations
Proven track record of leading transformational/high impact projects
Relevant tertiary business management and/or commercial qualifications
Experience in Project Management and TQM practices, Lean 6Sigma and business process re-engineering

**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**:
Expert business/business consulting experience in both a captive and outsourced operational environment
Proven track record of leading transformational/high impact projects
Proven track record of execution on strategic and operational priorities
Excellent stakeholder management, planning, organizing and communications skills, progress focused with the ability to inspire, influence, get things done (repeatably) and to interact with senior executives
