Gogutsi is a London (UK) based bus and coach operator. Its transport and operations management team are based in the Western Cape. It is looking for trainee or assistant accountant for an immediate start. The position is permanent and full-time. Your place of work will be in our modern offices in Gordons Bay Village. The role would suit either a recent graduate or qualified accountant.

**Requirements**:

- Superb English (written and oral language skills)
- great telephone manner
- great IT skills and experience of working with Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- some knowledge of accounting software (sage)
- numerate and diligent with an eye for detail
- self motivated with the ability to work independently
- a good overall understanding of financial and management accounting practices, profit and loss, corporate taxation, payroll and company secretarial activities
- have a financial accounting, mathematics, economics or related degree

**Duties**:

- managing payroll for 70 employees
- raising sales invoices
- processing purchase invoices and expenditure
- reconciling payments, managing debtors and creditors
- calculating job profitability and margin
- preparing monthly management reports and P&L
- calculating and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- preparing financials for annual accounts
- submit company secretarial information

Pay based on experience. Immediate start available

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
