HR Business Partner

Our client is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team.
To organize, direct, and coordinate all people-related frameworks from a human resources perspective.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Be an HR Business partner for business and managers
- Recruitment & Selection/Onboarding: Responsible for the efficient recruitment process (effective management of the entire end-to-end process)
- Remuneration & Benefits: Report and advise on compensation, best practices and market developments
- Training and Development: drive and support the function of training and development from start to end within the business.
- Input into SDF BBBEE elements of skills development and aligning it with the SETA framework.
- Ensuring that an integrated & comprehensive WSP & Annual Training Plan is timeously submitted and aligned to the BBBEE requirements and
- Manage (External Bursaries Learnerships, Graduates in training, Engineers in training, Interns and Apprentices) and other skills programs required timeframes.
- Drive and support for wage negotiations and interaction with unions
- Conduct investigations, arrange disciplinary hearings, draw up charges and administer the final sanction.
- Represent the company at CCMA proceedings.
- Engage in corrective counseling and poor performance interventions. Attend meetings with shop stewards and employees to mitigate issues and reach consensus on disputes.
- Lead leadership assessment and development in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent.
- Facilitate and administer the various HR generalist processes and functional interventions whilst partnering with the various business functions.
- Consolidate outcomes of Feedback & Development Dialogue process, identifying any patterns that require attention, identify and plan development needs, assist Head of HR to make and implement recommendations
- Delivering on HR Projects as annually agreed
**Skills**:
- In-depth understanding of HR concepts and principles gained through formal education and substantial work experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture
- Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience
- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
- Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others
- Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce
- Sound knowledge of local labour laws and government requirements and other legislation such as BBBEE, POPIA etc
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
- 4 - 6 years HR experience, or equivalent experience in a multi-national company
- Experience with organization design, talent management/development, workforce planning and HR operations
- Industrial Relations experience and dealing with unions and CCMA representation
