What we’re looking for_**
We seek a dynamic individual to join our team in the capacity of a Finance and Operations Assistant. This role will collaborate with the Senior Finance and Operations team and will assist these functions
**Responsibilities**
As a Finance and Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately and appropriately recorded on the business’ financial system (Xero)
2. Bank and other Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
- Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
- Reconcile other balance sheet items on a monthly basis
- Ensure intercompany transactions are reconciled on a monthly basis
- Complete provisions and accruals for reporting purpose
3. Accounts Payables and Receivables:
- Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable
- Process customer invoices and keep track of the aged receivables
4. Finance Reporting
- Assisting the Finance Manager by preparing the monthly reporting sheets and pack, in order to deliver timeously reporting to the board of directors.
- Preparing the cash flow reports on a monthly basis
- Preparing the monthly forecasting report
- Assisting with the yearly budgeting process and complete the monthly budget vs actual report
5. Operational Reporting
- Prepare weekly health reports for the leadership team
- Prepare weekly reports for various stakeholders within the business
- Asset management, acquisition, monitoring and control
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (Intermediate level)
