**Educational Requirements**:

- A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
- National Diploma /National N Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting Science/Equivalent.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Recognized National Diploma/National N Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting environment;
- A minimum of Zero to one (0-1) years experience in Financial Management or Accounting environment;
- Driver’s licence will be an added advantage..

**Post Description**:

- Basic knowledge of financial functions, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate financial statistics;
- Basic knowledge of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures and Treasury Regulations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA, Financial Manual);
- Knowledge of basic financial operating systems (ITS).

**Duties**:

- Receive requests to purchase from SCH Head, select and evaluate suppliers according to the SCM policy.
- Administration of tenders, request or receive quotation as per the SCM policy;
- Obtain signatures in line with the Ekurhuleni West TVET College Financial Policy;
- Prepare official orders for approval, placing of orders with suppliers, liaise with suppliers and internal customers;
- Handle queries from suppliers and internal customers, GRV orders upon delivery of goods or services and any other delegated duties. Responsible for dealing with all student debtors;
- Dealing with student queries about accounts and forward evidence to Corporate Centre for correction;
- Debt collection by analysing statements for mistakes, handing out statements to students immediately after receiving it from the Corporate Centre and phoning parents with overdue accounts;
- Filing student enrolment forms and deposit slips on a daily basis;
- Dealing with inter-account transfers if money is wrongly allocated - submit request with supporting documents (deposit slip) to Corporate Centre;
- Submit request for student journal with supporting documentation to the Corporate Centre;
- Dealing with Company Students according to procedure;
- Forward company student detail and source documents to the Corporate Centre;
- Dealing with refunds to students;
- Prepare and submit documentation for bursaries, Merit and Indigent;
- Deal with auditors queries on student accounts and other office administration duties as required.
