Aon South Africa is recruiting an SLA Administrator, based in the Claims Department at our Sandton office. This is a hybrid role.

The role of the Claims SLA Administrator is to support the Claims Service Manager in handling service levels with stakeholder on claims from registration to finalization. A service-level agreement (SLA) is a contract between a service provider and Aon; that documents what services the provider will furnish and defines the service standards the provider is obligated to meet.

**What the day will look like**:
As the SLA Administrator within the Claims Department, your responsibilities will include:

- Understand the service level agreements and standards for all involved suppliers, insurers and Aon colleagues.
- Identify claims outside the agreed service level agreements with Insurers and other service providers by reviewing historical and real time data on service performance.
- Follow up on the claims outside these service level agreements to expedite the claims process and improve client outcomes.
- Liaise with Insurers, Service Providers, other Aon colleagues and Clients (where applicable) to identify and resolve claims SLA issue(s).
- Report service performance issues timeously to management and proactively report any identifiable bottlenecks, that can be resolved before impacting service performance.
- Identify matters that must be raised to the Claims Advocacy team.
- Support Claims Relationship Managers with administrative tasks.
- Support the Claims Advocacy team and other Aon colleagues in compiling claim files or investigation reports to resolve complaints where required.
- Identify claims process improvement opportunities to enhance the claims' experience for Aon clients.
- Participate in continuous business projects to strengthen workflows and provide practical input to impact innovation.
- Contribute to overall efficiency of the team, productivity targets and service level agreements via effective planning and organizing of workload.
- Provide advice, guidance and feedback to clients where required.
- For a limited time, run off existing claims until finalized.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
**Qualifications.**
- A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.

**Knowledge.**
- Excellent knowledge of policy wordings.
- Claims Administration know-how.
- An extensive knowledge of the South African and international short-term insurance markets will be advantageous.
- Digital literacy with sophisticated knowledge in MS Word and Excel.

**Skills and Attributes.**
- Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work optimally in and with teams.
- Good communication skills.

**Experience.**
- Have a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role
- Proven claims advisory experience.
