Position title : QHSE ADMINISTRATOR
Position reports to : GROUP QHSE MANAGER
Business Unit : FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
**Main purpose / objective of the position**:
- Provide administrative support to the company’s QHSE department.
- Maintain registers of all QHSE documents and control their expiry / renewals.
- Support the QHSE team by updating all QHSE documents as required e.g., procedures, legal appointments, training
- Coordinate and collate monthly QHSE figures from the region and provide management information.
- Keep and maintain records of all incident reports, investigations and any supporting documents.
- Coordinate and plan suitable QHSE activities e.g., Toolbox Talks, Awareness Sessions, Safety Day.
- Support operational teams by providing information as may be required from time to time.
**Decision making authority**:
This position has the authority to:
- Identify and report non-conformances, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and hazards to relevant management.
- Take remedial actions and/or advice operational staff, including suppliers and management on QHSE issues
**Experience / Education**:
- SAMTRAC or NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 3-years relevant experience as QHSE Administrator across multiple countries
- Basic General Administration certificate desirable
- Sound knowledge of basic OHS legislative requirements
**Skills required**:
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Co-ordination and organizing
**Knowledge required**:
- Basic working understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
**Competencies required**:
- Customer & Quality focus, Drive and Productivity, Communication, Team work and cooperation
**Major drivers of work volume**:
- Complexity of SLA’s; Diversity of client industries and unique requirements
**Interface / relationships with**:
Internal: Group QHSE team, Local management, Regional operational teams
External: Certification bodies, Client representatives, Interested parties
