**Signal Hill Products is looking for a Inventory Clerk**

**Position/Title: Inventory Clerk**
**Reports Too: Logistics Manager**
**Function Logistics**
**Area South Africa**
**Number of Reports 2**

**Overall Responsibility**:
Develops the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize losses. Maintains and manages inventory of materials and stocked products. Creates and maintains accurate written procedures for the primary inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented. Comply with and HACCP or IS022000 requirements

**Focus Area 1: Stock Controller**
Management, housekeeping, and maintenance of warehouse
Managing, receipt and checking of all stock transferred and returned and pallet requirements
Managing correct receiving of goods, issuing of stock
Management of packing, pulling, storage and rotation of stock Ensure that all stock movements are captured daily & reconciled timeously
Collation and confirmation of invoices
Assisting with managing, weekly monthly and quarterly and annual stock counts
Daily investigation of stock variances
Overall stock control including finished goods (landed) & raw materials for production

**Focus Area 2: Health and Safety**
Comply with and HACCP or IS022000 requirements
Perform Food Safety and Quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QC functions

**Requirements of the Role**
BCom Logistics, Business administration or related tertiary qualification
Proficiency in inventory management software
In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices

**Preferred Skills/Competencies**
Great analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skill
