**We are seeking a Manager - Content Management, Internal & Digital Communications for a 5-year fixed term contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies or Public Relations
- 8 years working experience in communications, PR or marketing of which 3 years must be at management or supervisory / consultancy level

**The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Support to strategic planning and governance - review organizational activities; develop unit plans; enhance / implement processes, procedures and controls; ensure report preparation; participate in management forums; facilitate inter-dept communications; manage / support audits; develop / management relationships with stakeholders
- Content generation and management - building a brand identity; develop internal and external electronic/hard copy documentation; development of content; monitor / evaluate progress
- Website / external communication - develop/ensure implementation of social media / website strategy; manage/post content to social media platforms and website; share and monitor web traffic
- Design/develop/maintenance of intranet - Collaborate in designing and upgrading intranet; drive/manage content development
- Digital Communication - oversee & develop content on digital platforms; conceptualize / implement new and creative digital growth strategies; manage customer feedback; ensure digital campaigns success
- Budget management - prepare capital and operating plans / estimates; manage capital / operational budget; evaluate sections performance; authorize payment vouchers; planning and forecasting
