**Innovata Pharmaceuticals**, which is part of the Avacare Health group is looking for a **Brand Manager** to join our team in **Ormonde, Johannesburg**.

**Purpose**:
Implementing marketing brand strategies to deliver innovative, operational brand plans to achieve business outcomes.

**Critical Experience**:
Experience of 4 years in a similar role in the pharmaceuticals industry

Marketing Degree

Software (MS Office, IMS, SSD, Repwise, Qlikview, Pastel)

Excellent trade relationships

Medical congress & CME activity management

**Job Functions**:
1. Develop & implement operational/tactical plans

Develops these plans to support strategy, address customer needs and to achieve sales targets assigned.

Evaluates campaign impact vs objectives.

2. Teamwork

Promotes cross-functional teamwork with sales, marketing, regulatory, medical, commercial to effectively implement campaigns.

3. Market due diligence

Understands the marketplace, patient flow, leverage points & competitor environment and develops plans to capitalize on opportunities and address threats.

Searches for business growth and new product opportunities.

4. Timeline adherence

Ensures that all projects are briefed in and materials are available at the right time & of the right quality.

Monitors outputs of external agencies and partners.

5. Managing the budget

Manages the A&P spend in line with budget & business requirements. Ensuring that deviations are highlighted &
corrective action proposed.

6. Compliance

Ensures adherence in industry-specific codes of practice, advertising codes, regulatory directives & guidelines and

company's SOP’s.

7. Monthly reporting

Prepares reports on monthly sales, spend and account analysis Reports on competitor tracking and market trends.

Provides feedback on sales forecasting.
