We are a fast-paced car rental/ Panel beating business with a dynamic and engaging environment currently seeking a **young and ambitious Debtors collector with the relevant Experience, this exciting new vacancy has opened due to the growth of our comapny.**
- **Qualifications and Experience**_
- At least 5 years of experience as debt collector
- Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders across all levels, particularly senior and executive management.
- Have an organized, structured and result orientated approach to work.
- Be adaptable and able to cope with a dynamic environment.
- Be reliable, have integrity and display a professional approach.
- Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills with attention to detail, logical thought processes and sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information both from internal and external sources.

- **Roles and Responsibilities**_
- Keep tracking outstanding debts
- Make sure bad debt rate is low and recovery rate of debt is high
- Plan course of action to recover owed money
- Locate and contact debtors
- Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
- Handle customers' questions or complaints
- Build trust with debtors
- Update account status and database regularly
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
- Dealing with third party/claims to retrieve moneys due
- Accountable for timeous service delivery through own efforts.
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
- Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality.
