**Job Advert Summary**:
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager within the cleaning sector. To manage and control all cleaning, electrical and general maintenance outlets to the required standards within agreed budgetary limits and to provide effective leadership for all staff within the unit.
Established in 1975, Feedem is a large contract cleaning & Catering company in South Africa which manages in excess of 300 sites and employs more than 5 000 people ranging from dieticians, chefs and human capital specialists to hygiene experts.
We provide a wide range of catering and associated services to clients in all industries. We customise our catering and services according to their needs. Our services are offered with confidence as everything we do is underpinned by an ethical code and full compliance with all the relevant industry standards and regulations.
We have a country-wide footprint with our head office in Johannesburg, and regional offices in Cape Town, Durban, George, Worcester, Port Elizabeth, Rustenburg, Kimberley and Bloemfontein.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualifications will be advantageous
- Minimum 2-3 years of Supervisory experience preferably in the cleaning and general maintenance industry
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- SHEQ principles
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Plumbing and Electricity
- English and preferably SeTswana or SePedi language.
- Must be client centric
- Good communication skills
- Organisational Skills
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Management of Facility Cleaners
- Client Engagement and Satisfaction, through duty commitment and overseeing its completion
- Management and guidance of Electrician and Maintenance Personnel
- Computer literacy and basic documentation control
- Maintain personal health, hygiene, and professional appearance
- Maintain the cleaning program and correct usage of chemicals and equipment
- Ensure Cristal's standards, policies, and procedures are maintained.
- Liaison with Area Manager on site daily operations and monthly reporting
- Do daily checks and follow-ups on tasks allocated to staff
- Ensure that all safety and hygienic standards are adhered to, through training and toolbox talks
- Report maintenance and safety concerns to the manager and client as and when they arise
- To ensure that the correct uniforms and PPE are always worn.

- Ability to communicate, motivate, develop, and coach staff at all levels
