We know how much happens behind the scenes to make this magic happen Often invisible to guests, the back of house team keeps things running smoothly, whether you’re working in Maintenance, Finance or Reservations, you’ll be supporting and contributing to something special.

We are looking for a Touring Consultant responsible for quoting, managing and making tour operating bookings including flights, transfers, restaurant reservations, as well as accommodation bookings.
- Help clients and agents identify the ideal travel itinerary based on their plans and requirements
- Regularly maintain a good relationship with our clients and agents.
- Provide all relevant and essential information to the clients regarding their travel.
- Sell the appropriate tour package to the right client.
- Negotiate any customisations or modifications requested and accommodate to the best level possible.
- Resolve any problem that arises regarding the trip for the client.
- Actively try to reach sales and revenue targets.
- Stay up to date on domestic and international travel trends as well as products.
- Respond to inquiries about our Company's services and offerings.
- Make lodge reservations for FIT’s and groups, preparing rate proposals and following up on the business to ensure revenue.
- Assist with and maintain an efficient administration system within the department.
- Reviewing, monitoring and revising guest service standards, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all quotations are followed up on a regular basis in order to ensure maximum revenue.
- Creating and managing all travel logistics and file handling, including financial aspects.
- Support the reservations team as well as provide after hours coverage if required.
- Assist with related duties as and when required by management.

**Requirements**:

- Destination knowledge, including accommodation, transfers and flights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- High level of computer literacy.
- The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
- The ability to work well within a team environment and without supervision.
- Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and mannerisms required.
- Team and goal orientated.
