-The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and facilitate implementation of the risk and compliance framework and reporting processes for the department.
-Detailed Description

Engage in short term planning and perform tasks against work plans as defined in conjunction with the manager
- Coordinate and facilitate implementation of the risk and compliance frameworks for the department and support compliance with legislative and audit requirements by process owners.
- Utilise the available risk management, compliance & audit tools to monitor and report on related issues in order to ensure sound governance.
- Conduct regular assessments to verify compliance with legislative and policy requirements of the SARB.
- To identify risks through facilitation of periodic operational risk assessments, compile and update a risk matrix for the department including the cash centres.
- Create risk and compliance awareness within the department including the cash centres through campaigns.
- Update the department’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Emergency Evacuation and the call-out lists.
- Capture incidents on CURA, follow up and update action plans.
- Follow-up and update the action plans to address the residual risks and audit findings raised.
- Assist with other related duties on an ad-hoc or project basis as requested by management
Job Requirements

a minimum of a Degree (NQF Level 7) in Risk & Compliance, Audit or an equivalent qualification; and
- a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Governance, Risk and Compliance facilitation environment OR related environment.
