**PURPOSE**
The store manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the store that he/she works in. a store manager is the direct link between the general manager, who oversees the store, and the employees who work in the store. The general managers main focus is to make sure that the general daily operations of their store run smoothly, notifying their general manager continuously, when necessary, if issues arise. The store manager must be able to take instructions from his/her general manager and filter them down within the stores team. Similarly, the store manager is accountable the performance of his/her team and the overall store.
Key responsibilities & Duties
**ADMIN**

- full daily stock count
- stock management
- place orders: keep par levels maintained
- supplier feedback form to be completed when necessary
- invoice capturing
- grv tracker to be completed
- update vida way files with paperwork
- update attendance register for payroll
- **Front of house**_
- checking of completed store checklist
- print & issue once per week
- file old checklists

- employee related issues
- all staff in?
- store opening time
- update status, 15min prior
- picture of display, shot level & time
- midday/afternoon
- turnovers
- picture of display & last shot time
- day end
- budget & cash up
- daily management report
- retail & banking spot checks
- pay out report

- daily pay-type report

- turnovers, both excl & incl vat
- wastage %
- average spend per head

- report on any closing issues
**WEEKLY**
