- Processes annual scheme revisions/renewals timeously, including identifying schemes for renewal, obtaining and processing data, reconciling and paying broker fees, issuing annual policy documents and policy schedules and renewal packs, in terms of business processes.
- Reconcile monthly schedules from clients against expected premiums due by said clients and checking data and updating member records and issuing of invoice calculations for annually paid schemes in accordance with processes and procedures.
- Process scheme terminations, and ensure termination provisions are adhered to.
- Load membership data onto the system when received or check uploads done by junior staff.
- Prepare underwriting request letters or extract them off the system, as required.
- Prepare administration reports or quotation summaries on multinational clients or in prepation for partner visits.
- Assist management to control the costs of running the department by not abusing the use of company assets such as stationery and telephones, and by finding alternative methods which increase efficiencies and/or reduce costs.
- Participate in various meetings and contribute to the discussions and decisions of the team and department from a servicing strategy perspective.
- Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Resolve queries and complaints timeously
- System testing as required by the department
- Liaises with External Auditors by means of written and verbal reports required by them in order to ensure that financial control measures are adhered to at all times
- Assist the reinsurance administrator
- Assist accounts with queries on premiums and claims
- Develop an understanding of multiple treaties in territories and their purpose
- Develop an understanding of the fronting insurer relationships to ensure seamless administration.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric)
- COP (IISA) advantageous
- BCom would be advantageous
- Experience in an Africa-based insurance company is recommended to ensure understanding of fronting insurers, reinsurance arrangements, etc.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry and a minimum of 1 to 2 insurance experience. Experience in Group Risk is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years administration experience in a claims and policy administration.
