**Job Advert Summary**:
Our client is looking for Fund Manager to develop Business Development strategies and plans for Rural Township and Community Development Fund (RTCDF) by proactively identifying new opportunities and needs using market and customer intelligence.
- Leads the implementation of the Fund’s strategy as approved by the board.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Experience/Skills required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in deal making environment with minimum of 5 years people management experience.
- Strong credit and risk analysis skills.
- Previous experience in managing people / professional teams.
- Well-developed presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Strong organizational and strategic orientation.
- Experience in development and implementation of strategic and business plans.

**Qualifications**:

- Post graduate degree in Finance, accounting
- CA (SA)/ MBA or relevant Master’s degree qualifications preferred

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Key Performance Areas/Outputs
- Develop Business Development strategies and plans for Rural Township and Community Development Fund (RTCDF) by proactively identifying new opportunities and needs using market and customer intelligence.
- Leads the implementation of the Fund’s strategy as approved by the board.
- Cultivate extensive networks within and outside company aimed at growing the reputation of company within the BEE financing, private equity, Development Finance Institution (“DFI’), commercial bank, project finance market and financial intermediary environment.
- Develop appropriate customer relationship strategies to deliver the RTCDF products and services.
- Champions and contributes to the development of new products and services.
- Regularly leads company participation at conferences promoting company products, services and interventions to RTCDF target market and other stakeholders.
- Assumes ultimate responsibility for generating new business in accordance with targets set in performance contract.
- Delivers outcomes on agreed deadlines and milestones.
- Manage and lead staff in ensuring that they deliver on the mandate of the company, including set targets for the Fund.
