**HR Officer**
A leading KZN-based Radiology company is looking for an HR Officer will offer administrative support to the Human Resources Manager, including timely and accurate delivery of day to day HR/Payroll administrative support for managers and employees.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**HR Policies and Procedures**
- Ensuring the company conforms with applicable HR-related regulations and statutes as well as company procedures and policies and advise management / staff accordingly
- Provide general HR guidance and advice to staff and management as required
**HR Systems**
- Experience of implementing and developing HR systems and metrics for online systems including payroll, performance management/appraisals, leave and document management
- Provide input on streamlining and improving HR processes and procedures
**HR Administration**
- Operational HR including drafting and finalisation of offer letters, contracts, new starter documentation
- HR operational objectives are being met in terms of service delivery, quality and compliance of employee contracts, documentation, policies, payroll processes, leave management and

- Monitoring all limited duration contracts
**Area**
- Provide staff with confirmation of employment letters, copies of payslips, service letters, etc. as required
- Provide general HR administrative support across the organization as required
- Assist with compiling daily, weekly and month end HR reports
- In conjunction with the HR Admin Assistant, ensure all employee files are fully completed with relevant BCEA information and relevant professional registrations
**Staff Welfare**
- Provide input on the development of staff welfare initiatives
- Plan and organise events relating to staff welfare, including staff wellness events
- Ensure staff are aware and utilising company wellness platform
**Remuneration and Benefits - ad hoc basis**
- Overseeing medical aid providers, pension and provident fund providers - checking billing correlates with payroll, ensuring that requests to change medical aid and Gap are submitted timeously, follow up with medical aid providers to correct any errors
- Liaise with provident & pension fund providers for removal of staff provident / pension funds, amendments to funds and risk benefits
- Managing submission and monitoring of all types of leave
- Full payroll function from start to end
- Collate payroll input documents from venues; check to ensure they have been authorised and do manual calculations of monies owing
- Ensure all employees are accurately captured
- Calculation and payment of terminated employees; providing UI-19 and all required details
- Ensure the maintenance of payroll system and leave administration system.
- Administration of all additional reimbursements, call, travel reimbursements, medical aid allowances and required statutory deductions
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
- Resolving any payroll discrepancies
- Maintaining all payroll operations by following policies and procedure
- Running all month end payroll reports and assisting with reconciliation for Finance team
- Maintaining and updating EE and WSP functions within payroll
- Liaising with management and staff regarding pay queries
**Talent Acquisition**
- Manage recruitment and selection activities including job analysis and implementation of valid selection tools
- Draw up job descriptions for sign off by HR Manager
- Prepare adverts for all vacant staff positions
- Provide HR presence and input on interview panels, draw up interview questions and suggested screening processes
- Conduct and analyse exit interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data that is used in understanding reasons for leaving
- Managing and conducting HR inductions
**Statutory Compliance**
- Input on the implementation of the Employment Equity Plan
- Support the HR Manager in convening EE meetings - convening meetings, taking and circulating minutes
- Collate information and documents for DoL inspections
**Employee Relations**
- Provide HR support and advice for all industrial relations issues, including disciplinaries and grievances.
- Guide managers on how to manage poor performance within their teams in line with company policy and best practice
- Assist management in preparing for disciplinary hearings
**Performance Management**
- Provide support to the HR Manager with devising and implementing effective performance management processes
- Support managers in developing clear, measurable objectives for staff
- Assist venue management with the development of progressive improvement plans for under
