Front Office Attendant
**Location**: 5-Star Hotel, Polokwane
**Salary**: Market Related
**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Register guests and collect necessary information (contact details, stay dates).
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
- Provide information about hotel services, room availability, rates, and amenities.
- Respond to client complaints in a timely, professional manner.
- Liaise with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and fully furnished.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIPs and event attendees.
- Upsell hotel services and facilities when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ** Experience**: Previous work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role.
- ** Skills**:
- Proficiency in hotel reservations software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Customer service-oriented attitude.
- ** Education**: A degree in hotel management would be advantageous.
